#MCM 14 - Adventure Time

Remember this outfit? Check out Adam's corresponding lewk below! Sometimes, we dress alike even when we don't mean to.

Tank Top, Shorts: Pacsun, Sandals: Target, Backpack: Thrifted

I wish I could remember what was so important on Adam's phone (not Pokémon, surprisingly), but I can't.  However, like I probably mentioned previously, if you haven't visited the Transformer Station or Ohio City lately, you probably should.  Unless you are going out with your girlfriends, then avoid it.  (We had an unfortunate incident at Townhall a few weeks ago - by "we", I mean some girlfriends and me.  People are weird.)

#MCM 13: Man's Best Friend

A few weeks ago, we were getting ready to take these blog photos, and I walked in to the living room to this.

Polo: Thrifted, Jeans: Gap, Glasses: Warby Parker

I think Eleanor loves Adam almost as much as me <3

P.S. Happy (early) Birthday, Adam!

#MCM 12 - The East Bank

A few weekends ago, Adam and I ventured up to the newly renovated East Bank of the Flats for some tacos at Coastal Taco.  Unfortunately, it was the Sunday before the RNC arrived. Fortunately, we didn't hit any traffic and were seated almost immediately.

After tacos, we wandered along the "boardwalk" on the river to take in all the new sites and sounds (seriously, the dubstep coming out of FWD was a great soundtrack for an impromptu photo shoot and snaps).

Button-Down: JCrew, Shorts: PacSun/Modern Amusement, Sandals: Target,
Glasses: Warby Parker

As you can tell, someone was a little too busy playing Pokémon to pay attention for some photos, but that's OK, because he's still handsome (even looking at his phone).

Summer is great for all sorts of adventuring, which makes it one of my favorite seasons.  It's also just so nice to be around water - summer or not.

What's your favorite part about summer?

#MCM 11 - Florida Tourist Style 2

Continuing with this week's "Adam on Vacation" theme (he's actually smiling in these photos!), here are some photos of his Day 2 #ootd.

Be still my heart <3

Button-Down: PacSun, Tank: H&M, Shorts: Thrifted, Sandals: Target

I thrifted these shorts for Adam when we went on our second #epicthrifttrip back in February, and I'm so glad that he liked them!  They have a subtle sailboat print on top of stripes, and I think they are just perfect.  I bought them for Adam, but I wasn't sure that he would like them.  I should have been more confident in my decision to purchase them for him because he's the king of funky prints - at least he's getting more confident with them.

These photos were taken on our walk back to the hotel from our breakfast at The Hangar on the second day of our St Pete Beach vacation.  Meandering really is the best form of transportation.

Missed out on all of the vacation style action?  Check out my #ootds here, here and here and Adam's here.

#MCM 10 - Florida Tourist Style

So it's not Monday, but by now I think you've all realized that my amazing husband, Adam, is my #MCE.  Since he's so amazing, Adam let me snap some photos of his vacation style while we were in St. Pete Beach.  Here is his first day of outfit photos.

Button-Down and Shorts: PacSun, VNeck and Sandals: Target, Hat: Armani Exchange

Adam keeps it simple on vacation (similar to how he dresses on the weekend), but he will upgrade his hat choices.  This "straw" fedora was a splurge when we were in Chicago for Lollapalooza in 2012, but Adam wears it constantly, so the CPW* has got to be low by now.  Not to mention all of the fun memories we have from that trip, especially the shopping trip part.  Free booze and good music is a formula for lots of sales.

Check out other vacation style posts here, here and here and stay tuned for another day of Adam's vacation style!

My #MCM 9 - Long Hair, Don't Care

So it's been quite some time (almost a year!) since I posted a #MCM post of my amazing husband.  Since he went and cut off all of his beautiful hair yesterday (to start his new job), I had to capture some photos beforehand.

Jacket: JCrew, Jeans: Gap, Black Black Henley: H&M, High Tops: Cheap Monday,
Glasses: Warby Parker

Long hair or short hair, he's still a babe.

My #MCM 8 - Snow Day

Jacket: UO Surplus, Denim Shirt: Levi's, Jeans: Bullhead (c/o PacSun),
Tennis Shoes:  JC Penny

There comes a time in the middle of winter when you have actually acclimated to the cold and decide to boycott socks and overall practical "winter-wear" (or is that just me?).  Although Adam is not boycotting socks (yet), he has been wearing this "Spring" jacket a lot lately (with his fur-lined sneakers).  When the temperature is around 30 degrees (Fahrenheit, foreign friends), it's easy to put away the huge parkas and be more casual with clothing.  So this outfit might not be the MOST practical outfit now that it is 14 degrees out, but swap out the tennis shoes for snow boots and add another layer (or two), and you are set!

Now that Punksatony Phil saw his shadow this morning and predicted 6 more weeks of winter, you may need some more winter-wear inspiration.  This list is a start (especially if you swap out the flats for boots), but why not just cut out the middle-man and check out Karen's blog (the last girl from the list).  She has been slaying winter-wear!

What are your go-to winter fashion must-haves?
